Jan and Paul asked me to post a selection of photos of their tour companions so that friends and family at home could enjoy. The photos follow.
Two additional posts about the adventures of Jan, Paul and Maelyn will follow this evening.

Jan, your writing is a joy to read.It helps us feel with Leanne and Joad and the pictures are priceless. You've made us blither and laugh and feel just plain joy.Maelyn is a lucky little girl. She's also a shining example of how savory life is and a reminder to listen to it through all our senses. With a charming daughter you will lead a charmed life. Thankyou for letting us be with you. Please give our love to the McDonald's.
Thank you ,
Leanne's Aunt Jill and the Nesbitts.
Dear Jan & Paul,
Thank you for allowing all of us to share in your adoption experience.
Ditto to Aunt Jill's comment... With anticipation I Iooked forward to each new post, as I leaned so much about the adoption process, life in China and of course about you, Paul and Maelyn.
Print up this wonderful blog, save it for a day far in the future, when Maelyn is the beautiful young teenager, she will one day become. On one of those turbulent rebellious days when she locks herself up in her room after yelling 'You don't love me." Silently slip the blog under her door. When she reads it she will understand the depth of you love for her. You won't have to say anything, as each word is imbued with love...
And with the great communication skills you have you will sail through that as well...
Again thank you Jan and Paul for your generosity,
Gisèle - friend of Leanne, Joad and Jennie
hello & hugs :)
P.S. Safe trip back home to all!
