Let the Packing Begin!!

I cannot believe that I am even getting to write this -- we are two weeks away from boarding a plane to China!! Two weeks until we can see our little girl's face in person for the first time. Words really are inadequate to express all of the emotions we are experiencing...

Last weekend I began the daunting task of packing for our trip. I started with Maelyn's list -- the best part! My breath caught a little while I was putting outfits together for her, as I had imagined this moment for a very long time...

I have become the Ziploc queen. I packed every outfit in it's own ziploc bag and then just kept going with bathroom supplies, medications, etc. It will make it much easier to grab something on the fly.

Packing hasn't been as bad as I had originally anticipated. Packing while singing to the Glee soundtrack has helped! :)
